An early morning stabbing on Saturday May 23, 2015 sent one man to the hospital with puncture wounds to his back.  Sgt. Candi Gearman of the Sioux Falls Police Department released the details:

At approximately 3:47 AM, officers of the Sioux Falls Police Department were dispatched to the 100 block of N. Conklin Avenue in response to a stabbing.  Upon arrival, officers made contact with a 45 year old male who had multiple puncture wounds to his back.

The victim was transported to Avera McKennan Hospital with serious but non-life threatening injuries. The investigation continues.  If you have any information that could assist police in their investigation, contact Crime Stoppers at 367-7007.
