Nightmare Fuel: Tangled Balls of Earthworms Invade Texas
In this video from the Texas Parks and Wildlife department you see tangled clumps of worms on a highway.
The video was taken by rangers at Eisenhower State Park near the Oklahoma/Texas boarder. Imagine running over that while you're driving. Oh man, it would be a super gross squish sound. Or, what if it was dusk, the sun just setting and you came across one of these worm-balls?
This worm behavior is probably because of the recent heavy rains and flooding in Texas. The worms do this when they are in danger.
Thanks worms you now have a guest staring role in my nightmares.
