There is a new theatre group in town and they are aiming to mix things up. The Good Night Theatre Collective is, quote, "Aiming to bring a distinct and fresh new voice to the ever-growing arts scene in Sioux Falls."

Their first production will be Thursday, November 17th. This performance is entitled, "Twisted: A Miscast Cabaret." It will be at the Icon Lounge at 8 p.m. The premise of the performance is 'an evening of music both familiar and unfamiliar performed by actors and singer never meant to play the parts.'

I've even heard rumors that the event will have a signature drink.

Executive Director, Sydney Place- Sallstrom said this about the group and it's first performance, "Our primary goal is to give our audiences a ‘good night’ out – to show them a great time through fun and entertaining theatre with heart and a sense of humor. We want to add to the quickly growing theatre community here in Sioux Falls. There’s an element of humor to it that will make for a stellar weeknight out for adults in Sioux Falls. If you ever wanted to see a man play Glinda the Good Witch, or a woman nail a Jersey Boys classic, ‘Twisted’ is your jam.”

The new theatre company was brought to fruition thanks to four Sioux Falls residents who wanted to give actors the unique opportunities to hone their skills and to give Sioux Falls residents more opportunities to enjoy live theatre.
