New Childhood Cancer Awareness Campaign
Cure Kids Cancer and Children’s Miracle Network are very excited to announce a brand new campaign to create awareness for Childhood Cancer Awareness Month in September: Be Bold. Wear Gold. We are touting the “Golden Rule: No kid fights alone.”
This campaign is designed to raise awareness and funds for pediatric oncology. Our goal is to make a significant difference in the lives of childhood cancer patients, childhood cancer survivors, childhood cancer patients who have earned their angel wings, and the families of all these beautiful children.
As you all are keenly aware, childhood cancer has an international symbol, the gold ribbon. This is the symbol we are introducing to our region, with the goal of uniting together to fight childhood cancer and create awareness about its devastating toll on children and their families. Ultimately, we want people to think “Gold” in conjunction with September, just as so many think “pink” for October.
We want to turn the region (and eventually the WORLD) GOLD in September! There 4 designs and all 4 are available in short and long sleeve. Short sleeve shirts are $10 and long sleeve are $15. They will also hope to have the bracelets by September 7 as well – so feel free to order those as well (they are $2 each – they say “Be Bold. Wear Gold” “No kid fights alone.”).
Pre-orders can be e-mailed to: CMNNEWS@sanfordhealth.org
Thank you for your continued support of Cure Kids Cancer and Children’s Miracle Network!
