Zoup restaurant was starting in 1997 and they have over a dozen location throughout the states and Canada. The company president is looking at a location in southwestern Sioux Falls.

The restaurant features hundreds of award-winning soup recipes with 12 rotating daily varieties, including low-fat, vegetarian, dairy-free, low-points and spicy options. The Companies president said:

“We like areas where it gets cold half the year, I like the areas that aren’t major metropolitan cities like New York where the rents are really high.”

The company plans to open the first store this fall.
