As summer winds down, a new school year begins — as does a new battle for the top of the charts. And where new September 2017 albums are concerned, it'll be a battle between former Disney stars, enduring country acts and dream pop prodigies.

Next month, Miley Cyrus and Demi Lovato will square off in the battle of Disney princesses-gone-pop stars: Cyrus' Younger Now, her sixth studio album and Lovato's Tell Me You Love Me, also her sixth full-length work, will both drop on September 29. May the best woman win...

September will also mark the comeback of country breakthrough Shania Twain, whose Now, her fifth studio album, will serve as her first release in 15 years. And fellow country icon Dolly Parton will shake things up with the release of I Believe in You, her first album intended for children.
