The sounds of Christmas through music and word will be heard in Tea, South Dakota this weekend (Saturday, December 13th and Sunday, December 14th) as the combined choirs of Trinity Lutheran Church in Tea and Zion Lutheran Church of Sioux Falls join with local musicians to present the Christmas Cantata 'Come Messiah King'.

Director Rusty Willson, choir members and a chamber orchestra made up of local musicians, encourage everyone to come together and experience the joy and celebration as we welcome the Christ child into the world.

The beautiful story told through music and word, 'Come Messiah King',  is from Randy Vader, Jay Rouse and Rose Aspinall, and is the perfect example of promises made and promises kept.

This is the 5th year for a community Christmas Cantata with all gifts received being directed to households dealing with financial hardship this Christmas. As families in the community continue to show a need, it is important to remember that local communites care.  100% of gifts received will be directed to the names that are received from needy families and caring neighbors.

Performance times are Saturday, December 13th at 7 PM and Sunday, December 14th at 9:30 AM at Trinity Lutheran Church, 335 W. 1st Street, in Tea, South Dakota.
