Mystery Diner Pays Family’s Tab in Restaurant
I love it when my faith in humanity is occasionally restored and I know that not everyone is a jackass.
A North Carolina family was eating in a pizza restaurant with their 8-year-old special needs child, Riley. He is non-verbal and has epilepsy.
Riley, like many kids who don't have special needs, threw a tantrum. His mother, Ashley England, said he was screaming and hitting the table and admitted it was disturbing the other patrons.
When Ashley was getting ready to leave their server came over to their table and said "I'll try to do this without crying, but another customer has paid for your bill tonight and wanted me to give you this note."
The note read: "God only gives special children to special people."
