You know how sometimes you get a bruise and you're not sure where it came from. Well, my toe has been purplish since December and I didn't know why or how, but it didn't hurt so I just went about my business. Until last night. Now that sucker hurts!

I do remember wearing a pair of new boots with a heel that hurt my feet a couple times, but my feet were fine the next day. And I've stubbed my toe a couple times, but it was usually fine afterwards. Maybe it was a combination of things.

And I feel like it's a weird toe to hurt. It's not the big toe or the pinky toe, which would usually get most of the friction from your shoe.

Honestly, I'm not even sure how long the toe has been bruised because the last color nail polish I used was purple.

I've included a picture below, but thought it might be too gross for some people so scroll down if you dare. Also, I usually have cute feet, but it's winter so I haven't had a pedicure in awhile. So don't judge my hobbit feet.

As with any ailment, I went to Google to see what could be wrong with me and I was immediately grossed out.

This is what I learned: My toenail could fall off and not come back for six months. Sometimes the doctor has to shave the nail off. Some people heat up paperclips to drain blood from under toenails. What?

I'm just gonna go to the doctor. Wish me luck.
