My Halloween Party Is Going to Be SO AWESOME This Year

Hosting a party is nothing to be taken lightly - especially a Halloween party. And for me, hosting a truly successful party centers around what food is being served.

No one will remember what costume you wore, or what kind of wine you served. The food, however, that they'll remember. That's why it's important to choose wisely.

It's not enough anymore to simply lay out some frosted Halloween sugar cookies in the shape of a ghost. To host a memorable party, you have to think outside the box.

Case in point - I was on the Internet the other day, looking for unique foods to serve at this year's get together, when I came across the website 9gag.

One photo in particular, of a Halloween skeleton food platter, literally made me say out loud, "That's the one! I am SO going to do this."

As you can see from the picture above, all it takes is some well-placed ribs, tiny weenies, barbecue sauce - and, of course, a human skeleton head.

I can't wait to bring this baby out of the kitchen after all the guests have arrived. This year's party is going to be colossal!!!
