Inmate Missing from South Dakota State Penitentiary Back in Custody
UPDATE: Authorities in Mitchell have apprehended an inmate who walked away from a minimum-security unit at the South Dakota State Penitentiary in Sioux Falls. He was caught early Wednesday morning.

Authorities are searching for a missing inmate from the State Penitentiary in Sioux Falls. David Bull Bear was last seen Tuesday night in the minimum security unit.
According to KELO-TV, the inmate is a 19-year-old Native American with black hair and brown eyes. He is 5-feet-9 inches tall and weighs approximately 140 pounds.
Bull Bear is serving a 5 year sentence for 3rd Degree Burglary in Bennett County.
