Girls and young women with disabilities from all over the state will be competing in the 3rd annual Miss Amazing Pageant at Augustana University on Saturday April 1, 2017 at 7:00PM.

According to yankton.net, girls 5 years or older and will showcase their abilities in their evening gown on stage, and also be interviewed by judges and as they introduce themselves to the audience. The only entry fee for participants is five cans or boxes of food. These items will be donated to local food pantries represented by the winner. All participants are awarded with a trophy and crown.

The winners will go on to represent our great state at National Miss Amazing this summer in Chicago.

This year they are hoping to host 75 participants, roughly 80 volunteers, and to raise $14,000 by gaining even more sponsors.
