The Buffalo Bills are making some moves prior to the start of the new league year, as they now have acquired a veteran quarterback.

Minnesota and Buffalo have agreed to a trade that will send the backup Vikings quarterback to Buffalo for a draft pick to be named later. The deal was announced by the Vikings.

This is the second trade that the Bills have prior to the start of the new league year on March 10. The team traded linebacker Kiko Alonso to the Eagles for running back LeSean McCoy.

Cassel is entering his 11th season in the NFL. During his career, the veteran quarterback has thrown for 15,727 yards and 96 touchdowns. Buffalo will be Cassel's fourth NFL team.
