The Minnesota Twins have just not been able to find their way here in the 2016 season.

After having a really impressive 2015 season, many believed this would be the year the Twins not only competed for a playoff spot, but that they would actually secure one once again as well.

At this point though with a 8-21 record and the last place spot in the AL Central, the Twins front office is trying to salvage the season with some roster moves.

They have now sent catcher John Ryan Murphy to Triple-A Rochester and designated relievers Ryan O'Rourke and J.R. Graham for release or assignment.

The Twins already sent prized prospect Byron Buxton down to Triple-A Rochester as well.

The latest moves were made prior to Friday's 10-4 loss to the Chicago White Sox.

I would assume that if the struggles continue that many more roster moves could be on the horizon as the Twins try to right the ship after this unfortunate start.
