Baseball season is in full swing and if you're a fan that has always had the dream of lacing up the the spikes, swiping on the eye black and swinging at fastballs, then an opportunity is coming for you next January.

The Minnesota Twins have announced plans for their 2016 Baseball Fantasy Camp.

The 2016 camp will be held in Fort Myers, Florida from January 9 through 16, 2016.

The Minnesota Twins Baseball Fantasy Camp is the officially licensed camp of the club and annually attracts more than 100 participants from across the U.S and Canada. Fantasy Campers enjoy a week of living a Major League Baseball experience in the January warmth of Southwest Florida. While at camp, players receive a personalized MLB uniform (theirs to keep), use of the Twins clubhouse and spring training fields, and the opportunity to play at Hammond Stadium at the CenturyLink Sports Complex, the Spring Training home of the Twins.

Campers will also receive instruction and be coached during the week by such former Twins greats as Bert Blyleven, Tony Oliva, Kent Hrbek, Frank Viola, Rick Aguilera, Tom Brunansky, Greg Gagne, Tim Laudner, Mickey Hatcher, Ron Coomer, Gene Larkin, Juan Berenguer, Frank Quilici, Bill “Soup” Campbell, Dick Stigman, Phil Roof, Julio Becquer and others.
