According to multiple reports, Minnesota Timberwolves rookie Andrew Wiggins has been named the 2014-2015 NBA Rookie of the Year.

The Timberwolves finished the season with the worst record in the NBA and will have the most lottery balls come the NBA Draft Lottery in a few weeks, but this news accompanied with a solid year on the court for Wiggins is a bright spot in a otherwise dark year to the Wolves.

Wiggins not only takes home this honor but back at the NBA All Star Game, he took home the honor of MVP of the Rookie/Sophmore game.

Andrew Wiggins finished the season with a average of 16.9 points, 4.6 rebounds, 2.1 assists and 1.0 steals per game.
