The Sioux Falls Dept. of Veterans Affairs (VA) will host its first Valentines for Veterans concert featuring country music recording artist James Wesley February 9, 2013 at 3:00 PM at the Washington Pavilion. The concert pays tribute to Veterans, who paid for this concert with their service and sacrifices and to Gold Star families who lost a loved one in military service.

Veterans should call VA Voluntary Services at 605-333-6851 Monday thru Friday from 8:00 AM to 3:30 PM to reserve their complimentary tickets. They may receive up to four tickets.

Wesley’s released his debut album, “Life Goes On,” in 1999. After the release of this album, he worked various blue collar jobs but returned to Nashville in 2006. In 2009, he released his first single, “Jackson Hole.” Later in 2010, he released “Real,” which was made into a music video. His single, “Didn’t I” was released in April 2011. “Jackson Hole,” “Real,” “Didn’t I,” and “Walking Contradiction” will be included on an album titled “Real.”
