Miley Cyrus has developed a much-discussed fashion sense in the last year. Her wardrobe is full of hits (vintage Versace) and misses (um, hi, sweatpants jeans and hello, uneven pant legs). Her style is something that she thinks very highly of and apparently, others agree, as the singer will hobnob with the fashion elite and intelligentsia on Oct. 22 in NYC.

The singer and twerker will present at the Fashion Group International's Night of Stars Awards.

Cyrus will hand out the Superstar Award -- the most prestigious honor given out at the event -- to designers Marc Jacobs and Robert Duffy.

Cyrus, who wore a fishnet-style black Jacobs creation to the 2013 Met Gala (pictured above) and who recently said that he pretty much taught her about fashion, was chosen to present this award because of her personal relationships with the designers.

Cyrus had previously gushed about her love of Jacobs, who is credited with revitalizing the Louis Vuitton brand in the past decade. "I work a lot with Marc Jacobs," she said. "He kind of brought me into fashion, like, when I was 16. That was when I started being around him and just learning from him."

She continued, "He kind of let me inspire some of his pieces."

The event is slated to unfold at the Cipriani Wall in NYC.
