Mega Millions Ticket Sold in Hot Springs Worth $10,000

HOT SPRINGS, S.D. - A Mega Millions ticket sold in Hot Springs is worth $10,000.

South Dakota lottery officials say the ticket matched 4 of 5 white ball numbers and the Mega Ball in last Friday's drawing to win the game's third prize. The odds of doing so are one in about 689,000.

Mega Millions is played in 42 states, the District of Columbia and the U.S. Virgin Islands. The jackpot sits at $74 million for the next drawing, on Tuesday.
