After keeping the Lambily waiting for nearly two decades, Mariah Carey finally returned to the stage of the Billboard Music Awards this evening (May 17) at the MGM Grand Arena in Las Vegas.

Dressed in head-to-toe diamonds (but of course, dahhhling), the legendary diva-turned-Vegas showgirl performed her oldest and newest single, "Vision Of Love" and "Infinity," in one mini-medley moment.

Only problem? Mimi is currently battling a bout of bronchitis, which caused her to cancel shows just one week after opening her Las Vegas residency — and, well, it certainly sounded that way.

The Elusive Chanteuse managed to sing through the sickness and deliver a decent, if not strained performance of both her 1990 hit and her sass-filled #1 To Infinity single. While "Vision Of Love" suffered a few dodgy vocal moments, the singer-songwriter managed to make up for it during "Infinity" and deliver to her best ability — even attempting to hit that daring falsetto note at the very end.

Critics and/or haters probably won't too convinced that Mimi's still got control of those legendary pipes after watching her "Vision Of Love"/"Infinity" mash-up at the 2015 Billboard Music Awards, but hey...at least she's not going down without a fight. Stay triumphant, Mimi...and get some rest!
