Jon Zimbelman of Whitefish, Montana has been working in Iraq as a private communications contractor for the U.S. Navy.

Jon planned to come home last week because his wife Erin was about to give birth to twins. But he had a visa problem and couldn't make it back in time.

So workers at the North Valley Hospital helped the new parents out. When Erin went into labor on Tuesday last week a hospital worker sat on the stool next to her and held an iPad where Jon was supposed to be.

Back in Iraq, Jon was able to watch the birth of his twins on Skype, and Braylon and Brielle were born one minute apart.

Erin and the babies are home and doing fine and Jon expects to be home in time for Thanksgiving.
