Sometimes little kids do mean and cruel things to each other. They may know better, but they aren't completely developed socially to always understand what they are doing is wrong. A grown 33-year-old man should have the social skills to know right and wrong. Javier Dwayne Rouse does not.

The 6-year-old son of Rouse's girlfriend said something inappropriate to another kid at his daycare in Mesa, Arizona on December 28. Rouse then punched the boy in the chest and, as surveillance video showed, sent him flying four feet backwards landing on his rear and skidding up to the wall behind him.

The kid-puncher didn't think he hit the boy that hard, saying that he "didn’t think he punched the child hard like an adult would be hit." He was arrested on Monday. Hopefully a fellow inmate will hit him back.
