Man’s Online Girlfriend Is His Daughter-in-Law
Who’s your daddy (in-law)?
In what had to go down as one of the most uncomfortable first dates in history, a man in China met a woman he’d been talking to online only to discover the object of his affection was his daughter-in-law.
It seems the pair had struck up a friendship on the Internet using fake names and phony pictures. They agreed to meet at a hotel, which is when things got totally out of control, according to the 57-year-old father-in-law:
“When I opened the door I don’t know if she was more surprised or me. She turned round and ran off down the hallway straight into her husband, my son, who had been following her. He started shouting and then he attacked her, and then he attacked me.”
The son got so physical that his dad had to stay in the hospital for five days, while his wife lost three teeth. He wound up in jail for five days because of the attack.
There’s no word on how the trio plans to move forward, although we can only imagine how tense the next family gathering will be.
And just think – the stigma of online dating is actually getting better.
