Man Cuts Sioux Falls Woman in Head: Tells Her ‘You’ve Been Warned’

Sioux Falls Police Information Officer Sam Clemens says a woman who was walking her dog near 19th and Prairie Avenue Wednesday night was attacked.

"As she was walking, the woman said some guy came up behind her, grabbed her by the throat and cut her on top of the head. As he cut her on top of the head, he made a comment 'you've been warned.' The victim thought she recognized his voice. But, she wasn't 100 percent sure. At this point, we really don't know what he did, why he attacked her or who he is."

Clemens says the woman suffered a three inch cut on her head.

The suspect's only description is he was wearing dark colored clothing.
