Man Arrested for DUI – Claims Father is an ‘Autobot’

Earlier this month, police in Palm City, Florida saw a messed-up Saturn run a stop sign. The right front tire was blown out, and its remains were slapping the wheel well, so they pulled the driver over.

The guy driving was 19-year-old Michael Rexford of Palm City, and he smelled like alcohol. He told the cops he could tell his car was "woogity" and that they didn't need to arrest him for a DUI because he had a solution for fixing his car.

He told them his father was "an Autobot" who could easily fix the tire. If you're not familiar, the Autobots are the good guys in "Transformers".

They are robots disguised as cars, although that doesn't necessarily mean they're good at intermediate car repairs.

For some reason, that excuse didn't work. Michael was arrested for DUI.
