A lunar eclipse is one of the only times that the moon and sun are exactly 180 degrees apart on Earth's sky, which means that right after the moon sets, the sun should rise, making it technically impossible to see both at once.

The NWS in Sioux Falls says that cloudy skies should not obstruct your view of the lunar eclipse in and around Sioux Falls.
