Adorable 6-year-old Johanna Colon from Raleigh, North Carolina is described by her mom as "feisty and bubbly" and you can certainly see that in her tap dance recital routine which blew the audience away! Her video has been seen by over 15 million people, but Johanna doesn't quite understand her newfound celebrity, she was just having fun!

In fact was more excited because it was the last day of school and she was promised ice cream for having an excellent report card. Johanna also studies jazz dance and ballet, as well as tumbling. She has a special needs younger sibling whose care requires much of her family's time and she helps with his care and visits him often in the hospital.

Johanna's teacher chose Aretha Franklin's "Respect" because she knew the little "star-in -the-making" would put her personal stamp on the routine and in the process it got the only standing ovation of the evening.

When I saw little Johanna's dance it brought back a very vivid memory from my childhood. My parents were famous for throwing wonderful cocktail parties when I was little. At one of them, I apparently developed my love for scotch, by sipping out of several guest's glasses.

I then retreated to my bedroom, donned a very tutu-esque, frilly, lacy, bright yellow slip and returned to the living room. I apparently became the life of the party as I danced enthusiastically and rolled a green leather hassock around as a prop! I remember imagining myself as a dancer entertaining thousands, large and in charge, at least until the scotch wore off! Sadly, I'm sure it was nowhere near as entertaining as this.
