Today in Lindsay Lohan: She’s a Broke Thieving Saboteur + Boy Band Groupie

Lindsay Lohan‘s money troubles and obsession with the Wanted continued this weekend, as the actress snatched things from the band’s tour bus and complained to the world about her finances.

Since her recent tax woes, a source told TMZ that LiLo’s been having trouble making her rent. When she signed the lease in February, the $8,000 a month didn’t seem like that much money, but now she’s scraping together cash and selling her clothes just to make ends meet.

Since it would be too expensive to break the lease, LiLo’s been borrowing money from friends to pay for the pricey roof over her head.

And considering she recently had the home remodeled for $200,000 by tricking Bravo’s ‘Million Home Decorators,’ it would be a shame to move now anyway. The network bought new furniture for the house and Lindsay filmed several segments for the program — with the exception of the big reveal that was supposed to show off her reaction to the completed remodel.

Despite Bravo’s repeated calls to LiLo over the past eight months, the network hasn’t been able to get that footage, and sources say the home is now such a mess that it really can’t be filmed anyway. But maybe we’ll get to see a doctored reaction next year when the episode airs.

You’d think with all the money that’s been spent on her house, LiLo would actually stick around to enjoy it. But right now she’s too busy following the British boy band the Wanted around like some sort of godforsaken groupie.

Seems she’s been traipsing around with Wanted member Max George (yes, the cause of her latest arrest), and made sure everyone knew it when she directed a tweet at him asking if maybe he’d like his sweatshirt back.

We’d say desperation doesn’t become her, but these days it’s become her primary character trait so never mind.

As for George, he told Us Weekly that Lindsay is a “good girl,” saying she can “party nearly as hard as we can” but that he and the rest of the guys are “probably not the best influences.”

However, in an interview for the Jingle Ball, he mentioned, “I think we’ve proved to ourselves, if we can stay out of trouble and keep her out of trouble this week, then we’re obviously outstanding citizens of the community, and we’ve managed to do both, so I’m quite proud of that.”

Aim high, Max. Aim high.

Then again, he’s managed to do what no one else has been able to: Give police departments from coast to coast some much needed downtime.
