Americans will no doubt be throwing down wings and burgers Sunday (February 5) when the New England Patriots square off against the Atlanta Falcons in Super Bowl 51. But Lady Gaga, who's performing the game's halftime show, insists you won't see a shred of meat from her production — dress included.

Gaga addressed politics, show details and even Beyonce during a news conference earlier today (February 2), and didn't give a straight answer about whether she'd use the gig as a means to speak out against President Donald Trump. Rumors spread in January that the NFL had forbidden Gaga from addressing politics, something the organization later denied, according to The Washington Post.

"The only statements that I’ll be making during the halftime show are the ones that I’ve been consistently making throughout my career,” Gaga said, according to The New York Times. “I believe in a passion for inclusion. I believe in the spirit of equality, and that the spirit of this country is one of love and compassion and kindness. My performance will uphold those philosophies."

"I don’t know if I will succeed in unifying America,” she added. “You’ll have to ask America when it’s over."

Another detail of note: No, Gaga's recent use of the bee emoji on Instagram does not necessarily mean the famously pregnant Beyonce will appear as part of the production (though Gaga did send Bey congratulatory flowers, according to Billboard). Still, that's not to say Gaga's treating the gig like a solo endeavor — she says her fans are completely responsible for the opportunity, and that they should consider themselves part of the routine.

"That kid that couldn’t get a seat at the cool kids’ table, and that kid that was kicked out of the house because his mom and dad didn’t accept him for who he was?” Gaga said. “That kid is going to have the stage for 13 minutes. And I’m excited to give it to them."
