The rain delayed NASCAR Sprint Cup race from Sunday at Pocono Raceway ran Monday and Kurt Busch won for the first time this year.

As I stated in my previous story regarding the race being delayed to Monday, fuel mileage was going to be a factor. Busch managed to save enough fuel to make it to the finish line.

He held race runner up Dale Earnhardt, Jr. off at the finish line. Busch won for the third time at the 2.5 mile track featuring widely different corners located in Pennsylvania.

Polesitter Brad Keseslowki ran third, followed by Chase Elliott and Joey Logano. Kasey Kahne, Matt Kenseth, Carl Edwards, Kevin Harvick and Ryan Blaney completed the top 10.

Some upsets, or as we like to call them, crashes, included Tony Stewart collecting Danica Patrick. Jimmie Johnson was running in the top five most of the day, but got loose and clipped the wall sending  his Chevy to the garage.

The Sprint Cup Series returns to the track Sunday at Michigan International Speedway for the FireKeepers Casino 400.
