Embattled NASCAR driver Kurt Busch had his indefinite suspension lifted on Wednesday.

NASCAR lifted the suspension after originally suspending Busch indefinitely for his role in an alleged domestic abuse case.

Once the Delaware State DA decided not to move forward with the case last week, it was presumed that NASCAR would follow with a lifting of the suspension.

This now allows Kurt Busch to become immediately eligible for the Chase for the Cup.

There has been no word from Stewart-Haas racing on whether or not Busch will race this weekend in Phoenix.
