A pair of classic rock legends are headlining the 76th annual Sioux Empire Fair in August. Kansas and Foghat are taking the stage at the W.H. Lyon Fairgrounds, Tuesday, August 4, 2015.

Kansas got their start in 1970 in Topeka, releasing a debut album four years later. By the end of the 1970's, the band had three straight Top Ten albums (Leftoverture, Point of Know Return, and Monolith) a quartet of Top 40 hits, and a Top Ten song ("Dust in the Wind'). The band added a trio of Top 40 hits in the 1980's.

Foghat also got their start in the early 1970's, signing a record deal in 1971 in London. The band's debut album was out two years later, featuring the hit "I Just Want To Make Lover To You". In 1975, they cracked the Top 40 for the first of five times with "Slow Ride". Foghat's 1977 Live album, is still considered to be one of the top live rock albums of all-time.

Also on the Sioux Empire Fair concert line-up are Hairball, The Eli Young Band, Lee Brice, presented by Hunger for Truth, and Brett Eldredge.

All concerts will again be free with paid fair admission.

The 2015 Sioux Empire Fair runs July 31 - August 9, 2015.
