Justin Bieber showed a ton of cultural sensitivity this week. The openly Christian Canadian singer was performing in Istanbul, Turkey, and took out a special consideration for his multitudes of Muslim fans at the show.

E! Online reports that Bieber, 19, stopped his show twice to honor the Azan (also known as the adhan), which is the Islamic prayer hour. There are five adhans per day, and two occurred during Bieber's show. Biebs put his Believe concert on hold to honor the prayer calls twice, earning kudos from attendees.

Bieber's Turkish jaunt earned him compliments, but his time in the Istanbul airport earned him some side eye from security.

ABC News reports that Bieber and his 12-person team whizzed by passport control in the city's Sabiha Gökçen Airport. Airport officials pretty much chased the entourage down, eventually agreeing to do their security checks curbside to accommodate the star, who flew in on a private jet. It's good to be the Biebs!
