Zulgad on the Vikings impressive 34-6 win over the St. Louis Rams on Sunday:

"Yeah you know what, it did. And I'll say this, I think I am probably as cynical as anybody. I probably look at things and say, what's the flaw here? There's got to be a flaw here. I have to be honest with you. They took seven penalties. They had a couple of botched snaps here and there. But how refreshing it was. Let's just start with this: how refreshing was it to see a Vikings team that on both sides of the ball, it was well coached? How nice was that? How nice was it midway through the second quarter to not scratch your head and say, what the heck is Musgrave or Childress doing? Or what is this defensive assignment? Why don't they make this adjustment? How nice was it to watch a Viking game and for the first time in years really and say, you know what, this is a confident coaching staff that has a gameplan and the gameplan is suited for personnel because since Childress took over in 2006, offensively at least and other than Favre in 2009, how many times did we say I don't care because this is how I do it? Yesterday, everything made sense. And Matt Cassel and what he did and if he can do this all season long, this will be about a .500 team and there's nothing wrong with it. He managed the game. Matt Cassell was asked to and did a fine job and he's got weapons around him. He managed the game and in this day and age, that's become a negative connotation, and you know, game manager, a veteran guy. No, if you manage the game as a quarterback, there's nothing wrong with that. I thought it was refreshing to watch a Vikings game in which everything made sense to me and this is actually a competent run game."
