Jerry’s Coming To Sioux Falls

Jerry’s Auto Sales of Lennox is coming to Sioux Falls. The new location is planned for the southeast corner of 85th Street and Minnesota Avenue.

According to Sioux Falls Business Journal:

The nearly five-acre car lot would include a 16,000-square-foot office and offer sales, service and repair.

Jerry's Auto Sales also has a location in Lennox. Owner Jerry Barr also operates Jerry's Chevrolet of Beresford and Extreme Automotive at 49th Street and Louise Avenue.

“This came together real quickly,” said Mike Van Buskirk, who represents the property. “He’s looking to the future.”

The business would be located to the south of Soo Sport Sales and to the west of a basketball practice facility owned by Avera McKennan. It would be across the street from the proposed Walmart store.

“It’s a good spot for that,” Van Buskirk said. “I think that area is obviously going to continue to grow.”

The plan for the store will need to be approved by the City Planning Commission.

“He’s going to do a nice facility,” Van Buskirk said. “He’s going to do it right.”  Van Buskirk expects construction to start next year.
