Ever since Reese's combined 'two great tastes that taste together' (chocolate and peanut butter), I've been obsessed with combining a pair of pretty good flavors to make something spectacular.

The craft brew people seem to have it figured out with flavors like Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough Ale, from Ben & Jerry's, and Saturday Morning Ale, which is infused with Cap'n Crunch!

One company has been pairing together different tastes for years - the folks at Jelly Belly. They've done everything from Tabasco and chili mango to chocolate pudding and buttered popcorn flavored jelly beans.

But now they may have outdone themselves!

Jelly Belly is partnering with Krispy Kreme to release jelly beans featuring five of the legendary doughnut shops most iconic flavors:

  • Original Glazed
  • Cinnamon Apple Filled
  • Strawberry Iced
  • Glazed Blueberry Cake
  • Chocolate Iced with Sprinkles

The Junk Food Aisle provided us with our first look on Instagram, after the new jelly beans were on display at the 2017 Sweet & Snacks Expo, in Chicago.

No word yet on when this new piece of heaven is hitting stores, but let's hope it's sooner rather than later!

It's the closest thing we're going to get to Krispy Kreme, since they left Sioux Falls years ago.

Yes. I'm still bitter...
