By this time last year, Sioux Falls had only recorded 3 day over 90 degrees. But that's about to change.

People who fear the heat like the blazin' bottom of the B-Dub's heat chart are about to get a little uncomfortable as dew points will climb and hotter temps will move into the area over the weekend.

Temperatures should reach the high 80's when the motorcycles fire up for the 5:30 P.M. Hot Harley Nights parade through Sioux Falls Saturday night.

If you're having a few beers for the downtown festivities, make sure to alternate with water to stay hydrated through the night.

Sunday will see the temperatures climb into the low to mid 90's for most of the area and will stick around for a bit.  Sioux Falls could start seeing chances of rain by Wednesday.

Still, we haven't had much blazing heat in quite a while. According to Brandon Spinner, KDLT Meteorologist, The last time Sioux Falls hit 96° or warmer was September 11th of 2013. The last time we eclipsed the 100-degree mark in Sioux Falls was August 30th, 2013!
