It’s A Case of Jurassic Park Meets Yellow Submarine, As Canadian Dentist Plans to Clone Baby From The Late John Lennon’s Tooth

This is one of the creepiest stories I've come across this week! If someone were pitching this as a movie, you could describe it as "Jurassic Park" meets "Yellow Submarine" because it is a psychedelically weird story about cloning a Beatle! And no, I'm not kidding!

A Canadian dentist by the name of Dr. Michael Zuk went on a British reality show, "Dead Famous DNA", and revealed that he had purchased one of John Lennon's molars for $33,000 dollars when it was up for auction three years ago. Now if that isn't weird enough, this is what he plans on doing with it. He wants to build a better version of John Lennon from the DNA in the tooth.

Yup, this nutball believes that he owns the rights to Lennon's DNA and fully plans to clone a baby using it. He is aware of the controversy he may be stirring up and knows that he may have to choose a country which will allow the bizarre experiment. Dr. Zuk says the child would be an "exact duplicate",  but hopes to direct the kid away from the negative aspects of Lennon's life involving drugs, cigarettes and such, but does think he'll encourage guitar lessons.

You've got to wonder what kind of dentist this guy is! Sheesh!
