OK, another video of me shooting. But this time it's not so much to tell you about all the wonderful things about the sport of practical shooting, of which there are many. This time I'm doing it to make fun of myself a little.

I'm so much slower than I think I am.

I don't know if you are like me, but I always think I am faster than I really am. I'm not delusional about it to the point where I think I can run a 4.8 second 40-yard dash. But I don't think I'm that slow. In this video there are a few parts where I am running from one place to another. I am much slower than I thought I was.

I remember thinking I was really hauling ass a few times during these stages. Then I watch the video and it looks like I'm dragging a plate rack behind me.

The funniest part is in the fourth stage of this video. The guy who was the range officer (following me on the stage) is pretty speedy. He's also literally half the size of me. So it cracked me up to see him not even briskly walking to keep up with me on the stage.

But it's also motivation to drop some weight. I exercise but don't watch the food intake. Pop is pretty much gone, but I still eat crappy junk.

OK, time for lunch! Salad or tacos...hmmmm.
