Move over Halloween candy and bring on the real holiday treats!

Nothing like the smell of fresh pumpkin pie, stuffing, roasted turkey, sugar cookies oyster stew, krumkaka, lefse.  Ahhhhh, I could go on and on.

It's time for holiday baking!  So, will you rely on the traditional recipes your family has shared over generations or will it be something new, innovative and healthy?

It's the ultimate throw-down between calories and courage.  Less sugar.  Less fat.  Gluten and GMO free.

If you're like me this only happens once a year.  And while I'm usually the one toting the more-healthy sign, this time of year the first items on the shopping list are butter, cream and sugar.
