How Much to Pay a Sitter?

Mom and dad need a night out? Sure you do! It's important for parents to take a break and have a date night.

How often do you get that break...and how much should you pay a sitter?

This infographic by urbansitter.com shows nanny and babysitter average rates around the country... (and all of a sudden I'm feeling rather cheap...)

Keep in mind, this show per child / per hour.

Should the cost of a sitter be more than dinner and movie? I think not.

Notice San Fransisco,anyone? Nearly $20 per hour / per child. For me, with 3 children, that would add up to just under $200 for a dinner and a movie. And we've have to hurry home before we went broke!
