Hot Air Balloon Race Made For a Fun Family Saturday Night

Saturday night Crystal and I took the kids to the Great Plains Hot Air Balloon Race. We had gone in the past but on a few occasions the weather ruined the fun. There was no such problem this past Saturday night. The weather was almost perfect. The pilots had to wait through a 30 minute delay because it looked like it may rain, but it stayed away.

Jackie and I walked into a balloon that was laying on its side and partially inflated with two big gas powered fans. It was pretty neat to walk around inside.

Then the real action started when balloon after balloon took off. Some went quickly, others more slowly. But it made for a fun, relaxing Saturday night at Kenny Anderson Park.
