Saturday morning, I was sitting at my computer reading Facebook and had the TV on in the background. I was either watching Food Network or WE TV, I'm not sure what channel was on, but what I saw took me by surprise, especially at 10:00 AM on a Saturday.

Schick has a new commercial promoting the new Schick Hydro Silk TrimStyle razor. They definitely get their point across. It's a new razor specifically for trimming your bikini area. Three bikini-clad women stand in front of a small trees strategically placed in front of front of them. Two of the women use scissors to trim their - uh - bushes and a third uses a Schick Hydro Silk TrimStyle razor to perfectly create a heart shape out of her bush.

The product is the only hydrating razor and waterproof bikini trimmer in one used for a women's below the belt maintenance.

The company is getting bombarded with negative comments. The website One Million Moms is asking for people to contact the company and demand they pull the commercial.

I think it's a little over the top, but it got my attention. I'm going to say "brilliant marketing."

Is this the best way to market this product? Tim Burt, a global marketing expert, advertising coach and consultant has a video on his website that says if you remember the premise, but not the product, the company just wasted its money. Is that the case with this new Schick commercial? Will you remember the product or just the premise?  Would you buy the product?

We have to know - what are your thoughts on this commercial? Brilliant marketing or just another trashy TV commercial?
