Guy Fieri Opening a Taco-Focused Restaurant in Kansas City

The Power and Light District in Kansas City, Missouri is getting a new restaurant and has a food network celebrity running the operations. According to Bizjournals.com, Guy Fieri is planning on opening up a new taco-focused restaurant next year. Fieri said in a press release: “Kansas City has always been one of my favorite cities…the people, the food, the culture, “I think this is the perfect opportunity to bring a unique, one-of-a-kind bar and restaurant concept to town. Let me put it this way: If you like to party, and you like tacos, this is gonna be your kinda dive!”

Fieri is no stranger when it comes to Kansas City and its great food. Several local restaurants on his show, “Diners, Drive-Ins, and Dives.” No word on what the name of the restaurant will be called but I'm sure if Fieri is behind it there will be nothing but “Peace, love and taco grease!”
