An effigy of president elect Donald Trump was smashed during a Guns N' Roses concert at the Palacio de los Deportes in Mexico City on November 30.

After lowering a piñata in the form of Trump from the rafters, frontman Axl Rose invited four fans onstage, gave them bats and encouraged them to "express" their feelings about the impending U.S. president.

"Let's bring up some people, and give them a f---ing stick," Rose told the cheering crowd. "I just want you to express yourself, however you feel."

After the fans tore into the piñata and knocked it to the ground, they found band merchandise inside, which they then tossed into the audience.

During his presidential campaign, Trump made many enemies both in Mexico and within the Mexican-American community when he promised to build a wall between the two geographically neighboring countries, something he ensured Mexico would pay for, as well as referred to Mexican immigrants living in the U.S. as "rapists" and "criminals."
