The Green Bay Packers have waived tight end Brandon Bostick, who is known as the man who dropped the ball in the NFC Championship Game.

NFL.com has confirmed the release of Bostick. Bostick played for three seasons with the Packers, primarily as a special teams member.

Unfortunately his career in Green Bay won't be remembered for his nine receptions, 123 yards, and two touchdowns scored. It also won't be remembered for the 10 tackles he picked up while playing special teams.

Bostick's career in Green Bay will be remembered for botching the onside kick against the Seahawks. Bostick was suppose to set a block that would allow wide receiver Jordy Nelson to come down with the ball. Instead, Bostick jumped for it and the ball slipped through his hands.

We'll see if Bostick is given another opportunity once NFL Free Agency begins and NFL Training Camp comes around.
