The cult classic Office Space came out on this day 20 years ago. They grow up so fast.

This movie gave us some very quotable and memorable moments. According to Imdb, here are some of the favorites:

Michael Bolton: There *was* nothing wrong with it... until I was about twelve years old and that no-talent ass clown became famous and started winning Grammys.Samir: Hmm... well, why don't you just go by Mike instead of Michael?
Michael Bolton: No way! Why should I change? He's the one who sucks.
Bob Porter: Looks like you've been missing a lot of work lately.
Peter Gibbons: I wouldn't say I've been *missing* it, Bob.
Joanna: You know what, Stan, if you want me to wear 37 pieces of flair, like your pretty boy over there, Brian, why don't you just make the minimum 37 pieces of flair?
Stan, Chotchkie's Manager: Well, I thought I remembered you saying that you wanted to express yourself.
Joanna: Yeah. You know what, yeah, I do. I do want to express myself, okay. And I don't need 37 pieces of flair to do it.

My favorite scene in the movie is when they destroy the printer in slow motion. I think all of us have had a moment with office technology where we wish we could just smash it!

According to Rolling Stone, Office Space started as a movie short featuring Milton Waddams and his red stapler. That short got director, Mike Judge, the go ahead for Beavis and Butthead and that lead to King of the Hill. But when he was offered the opportunity to make a movie, he went back to Milton and Office Space was born.

I think this movie resonates with people because it is so relatable. Who hasn't had a crappy job at one time or another? Haven't we all dreamed about doing nothing? Sometimes we just need a break in the monotony.

I remember in my college Businesses Management class we actually watched Office Space to learn what not to do. See, Office Space is educational!
