One week behind the American celebration of Thanksgiving, the official 'Thanksgiving' episode of 'Glee' aired, complete with some memorable faces from the original cast and a theme that's all about reuniting with your loved ones, which is what Thanksgiving is all about. Also, pie.

The episode begins with Quinn (Diana Agron) walking onto the McKinley High stage where she is joined by her former classmates Puck (Mark Salling), Mercedes (Amber Riley), Mike (Harry Shum Jr.), Santana (Naya Rivera) and Finn (Cory Monteith) for a mini-reunion. They sing 'Homeward Bound' / 'Home' by Simon & Garfunkel and Phillip Phillips to celebrate returning home for Thanksgiving.

Marley (Melissa Benoist) is still on her diet for Sectionals, and while her mother (Trisha Rae Stahl) has lost weight, Marley isn't feeling too good about her own progress. She is super stressed because she doesn't want to let the club down at Sectionals, which is taking its toll on her mentally and physically.

The old gang go out for dinner at Breadsticks and discuss their current lives. Quinn talks about how well she is doing at college, and Finn asks for a favor from everyone.

The next day they arrive to great the new glee club and Finn pairs each new member with an older mentor. Finn announces that he wants the group to perform 'Gangnam Style' for Sectionals. Santana is worried they don't have enough strong dancers to pull off the song and Mike agrees to work hard with everyone to get them in tip-top dancing shape.

Jake (Jacob Artist) and Ryder (Blake Jenner) discuss how Jake went out with Marley. He promises he would never hurt their shared love interest because he cares for her, and Ryder says he won't stand in the way of their relationship as long as Jake allows him to be the lead male dancer at Sectionals.

In New York, we learn that Rachel (Lea Michele) did not land her off-broadway audition and instead will be focusing her time on practicing for the NYADA showcase. Rather than going back to Ohio, she and Kurt (Chris Colfer) agree to stay in the city. Rachel says she will miss her family, but going home makes her sadder because it she feels like she's not moving forward.

Back at school, Mike works on dancing with the boys and Ryder is chosen as the best candidate when Jake lays off his moves.

While the boys are dancing, Santana, Brittany and Quinn talk to the girls about the importance of bringing femininity to the competition to beat the all male Warblers. They perform the Supremes' 'Come See About Me' while Marley looks on with a sick look on her face. When Santana asks her about it, she brushes it off, saying she's just tired.

Kitty (Becca Tobin) tells her mentor Quinn about how she worships her as the queen of the Cheerios and then brings up her frenemy Marley. Despite it being untrue, Kitty tells Quinn that Marley is stressed because Jake is pressuring her into losing her virginity. Across the hall, Marley tells Jake not to sell himself short to help out Ryder.

Rachel lashes out at Brody (Dean Geyer) for sleeping with Cassandra (Kate Hudson) and he reminds her that she was the one who pushed him away for another guy (specifically Finn). They dance together and decide to be adults and make up. As a way of apology, Brody says he will come over to Rachel and Kurt's and cook them Thanksgiving dinner.

Quinn approaches the Puckerman brothers and tells Jake to lay off Marley so she can focus on Sectionals.

Meanwhile, Kurt is talking to his boss Isabelle (Sarah Jessica Parker), who will also be alone on Thanksgiving. He invites her to his place for dinner and she agrees as long as she can bring friends. They discuss Kurt's recent break up with Blaine (Darren Criss), who Kurt recently told to leave him alone. Isabelle suggests he accept Blaine's apology so they can both move forward.

Santana approaches Quinn because Kitty has been giving Marley laxatives to help her lose weight. Instead of listening to Santana, Quinn assumes her friend is projecting her own insecurities onto her. When Quinn brags that she's dating her much older Professor and Santana is merely insecure, the girls end up in a literal slap fight, culminating in Santana calling Quinn a deadbeat mom for not visiting her daughter.

Backstage, Ryder is having trouble with his dance moves and Jake shows up to help him. He still refuses to take the lead role, even though he is the much better dancer.

Marley gives herself a pep-talk in the mirror a la Rachel Berry and complains about how hungry she is, but says it's worth it if she fits into her Sectionals' dress. She runs into Unique (Wade Adams), who, despite what his parents want from him, has decided to wear a dress to their performance. The group prays for some reason and Finn gives everyone a pep talk.

The Warblers open Sectionals with 'Whistle' by Flo Rida and One Direction's 'Live While We're Young.'

At Kurt and Rachel's, Isabelle and all her many many friends arrive for an impromptu dance party. Led by Isabelle, the assembled guests sing the Scissor Sisters 'Let's Have a Kiki' which is mashed up with 'Turkey Lurkey Time' from the musical 'Promises, Promises', head by Rachel.

During Sectionals (which is somehow occurring on the same night as Thanksgiving), Sue (Jane Lynch), Emma (Jayma Mays) and Will (Matthew Morrison) watch the Amish glee club while Blaine receives a call from Kurt. Kurt tells Blaine he accepts his apology, and is working on forgiving him. They admit to missing each other and agree to meet up for Christmas. There are tears and I love you's, and Blaine has to end the call to perform.

Marley tells Jake she hasn't been sleeping well and sweats all the time, but before he can help her, Ryder interrupts them. He tells Jake to take the dance lead so they can win the competition. Jake reluctantly agrees.

The episode closes with the New Directions performing PSY's 'Gangnam Style'. The winner of Sectionals will be revealed next week on 'Swan Song.'
