I have been a huge fan of the Funny or Die show Between Two Ferns with Zach Galifianakis for years. Zach is always super funny and the show's production pertagree includes Comedy Bang Bang's Scott Aukerman so I can always count on something awesome from the show. Zach is perfect as the deadpan interviewer asking his guests silly questions, and leaving you wondering if they may or may not be in on the joke.

The latest edition of the show featured President Obama, and POTUS kept up with the silliness and even gave as good as he got.

"If I ran a third time, it would be like doing a third Hangover movie...didn't really work out very well did it."

CNN.com has a good piece about how the White House and Ferns came together, read it here.

“Let’s get this out of the way, what’d you come here to plug?"

It wasn't just for fun either, the President was on the show to pitch Healthcare.gov to the Internet audience. And it seems to have worked. The video posed Tuesday morning and by that night it had over 6 million views. Wednesday, White House officials say that Healthcare.gov traffic has been way up.

I thought it was a great thing. It showed a very 21 Century understanding of getting a message out. It allowed people to see and relate to the President in a new setting. It also was a way to present information to people that are routinely ignored by policy makers; young American, non-political junkies and people that have given up on the standard news programs. The President went to where the people are. Watch the the interview for yourself:
