Apparently there are no incentives for helping someone get their early Monday-morning fix. A Sioux Falls man was beaten by three others after a drug deal.

The 23 year-old was walking downtown when he said three men in a car asked him where they could find some meth. He joined up with them and led them to a dealer.

After the transaction, Police Officer Sam Clemens says things turned for the worse. “(The victim) wanted part of the meth since he arranged that hook-up.”

Instead, Clemens said the three men in the car punched and kicked the victim. “They stopped near 13th and Garfield and kicked him out.” The beating occurred around 3:00 AM.

Suspects are described as a black man around 6 feet tall and 200 pounds and two white men who were about 6-1 and also around 200 pounds. Police say the victim did not give many details on the meth transaction.
